Welcoming Travis Grubissi as Our New Music Director and Conductor

We are excited to officially welcome Travis Grubissi as our new Music Director and Conductor.

Travis is a York University graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in music theory and composition with a wide range of experience working with diverse ensembles across the GTA. Currently, he is serving as co-conductor of the Metropolitan Winds of Toronto, where his leadership continues to shape the ensemble. In addition to his work on stage, he has also composed music for various media projects, including trailers, documentaries, and film.

Throughout the 2025–2026 season, Travis has encouraged orchestra-wide development with his positive leadership and attention to detail that has ensured our ensemble delivers precise, high-quality performances to our patrons. We look forward to many more rehearsals and concerts with Travis’s leadership, where we can continue to grow and learn as an ensemble.
