We're Looking for a CELLO SECTION LEAD
JOB DESCRIPTION
Music4Life String Orchestra is seeking an enthusiastic AND skilled cellist for the position of Cello Section Leader. If you aspire to assist string musicians of all ages and skill levels achieve their musical best then we want YOU!
Based out of Ajax, Ontario, our friendly and welcoming environment will allow you to lead our Cello section which consists primarily of amateur learners/musicians. As Section Lead, you will practice and perform with our orchestra, conduct periodic sectionals, and provide guidance to musicians during rehearsals. As a section lead, you will also be engaged in our advanced performing micro ensemble which rehearses and performs separately for public and private events in the Durham Region and GTA. This is a great position for someone who embraces a creative atmosphere, enjoys collaboration and wants to hold a leadership role in the arts!
Position type: Contract
Rate: $70 / rehearsal : $100 / concert
